Bruce Monk is the founder of Acts Churches. He has planted and pastored churches in small rural areas, towns and major cities like Auckland and London. ​He has grown churches from a handful of people to many hundreds. The Equippers church in Auckland grew to over 1000 before he handed it over to his son Sam Monk. Bruce has modelled what it means to empower and release an emerging generation of leaders. He is married to Helen, who often ministers alongside him with her teaching and prophetic gifts. ​

Steve is the Principal of Equippers College in Auckland, New Zealand. Steve is also part of the National Leadership Team for ACTS Churches New Zealand. He is regularly involved in teaching and speaking with Equippers Churches nationally and internationally. Steve has been in ministry for 35 years, beginning as a missionary to the Philippines working with urban poor and Muslim communities. He and his wife pastored a church for nine years and for most of the last twenty years he has been in involved leading Bible Colleges, both an interdenominational College and now Equippers College for six years. Steve is married to Christine. They have three adult children and one grandchild.

John Sparrow serves as the lead pastor of Equippers Central Coast and the host of Momentum Conference. As a lead pastor in his 20’s, John carries a significant voice for a new generation of leaders.

John leads alongside his wife Lenae and they have two young daughters, Paisley and Lily.
